Advocacy groups working together to stop bullying

Several advocacy groups will join under the umbrella of the Stop Bullying Coalition. Our plan is to craft a commonly agreed set of goals, and then to write a bill to replace S604, for consideration by the legislature.

These groups, including citizens in many parts of the Commonwealth, represent the elderly and disabled living in various forms of subsidized housing, as well as advocates for the elderly and disabled. They will bring experience and skill to the cause: leaders who are proven, effective advocates. More about them as our discussions develop. The major barrier to early action is the impact of the government shutdown and threatened default, which is already affecting our people and engaging the efforts of the leadership.

We are open to the participation of other groups as well as individuals.
